| Congradulations to Erik Slaughter as he has been named lone finalist for the athletic director and head football coaching position at SHS. A special meeting of the SISD school board has been called for Friday morning for final approval. With final approval, Slaughter will promote Joseph Gillespie to Defensive Coordinator. Interviews on KSTV to follow tomorrow morning. | |

| Hey!!! I am working here! Just taking a break is all.  I'm not like some people.  By the way....Stephenville got a great coach with Slaughter. He was a fantastic coach for Glen Rose and made nothing but improvements for them. Can't wait for Aledo and S'Villes 0 week! | |

| I think with his experience and work ethic and ability to run a fantastic program, this should be a great experience for both the coaching staff, the school board and of course the great metropolis of Stephenville, TX. Hopefully from now on all the goats will be safe and toothless skinny women will fill the void. amen. | |

| Cute!  With Eric Slaughter's background how can they loose! He was an Assistant under Art Briles from 1990-1998 and has 4 State Titles to his name. It is a definate win-win situation for the 'Ville. I can't wait for football season to start.  | |
