| Anyone out there doing spring ball at their school? Do you think it's a benefit come fall? Let's hear your thoughts on this. | |

| 7 on 7 is a good op to work on your pass game for fall, but you have to have some junk put in if you want to win in tournaments. | |

| I always felt that 7 on 7 was a great thing for the offense but the defense gets short-changed every single time! If there was any way to improve that then the whole set up would be truely benefical! | |

| 7 on 7 builds championships. Everybody knows that, just like powerlifting. | |

| I know it isnt very fun for defenses. it is an offensive thing..I still think it helps both sides of the ball. | |

| Yes, your right it really can be a waste of time for them. Hard for them to have total success. The offense can always find ways to score in 7 on 7. | |

| Well it's all about loving the kids and showing them you care, and that will turn them into great athletes and they will succeed in life and no one will ever have to miss out on college life and have to become a janitor, or sell crack or strip, or mow grass, pour concrete, speak spanish, flush toilets, or change oral in cars. | |

| I hope they are all athletes...Their playing....And depends on the success you are looking for....You dont have to win the 7 on 7 games to be achieving the over all goal for the up coming season. I know there will probably be a stupid response but go ahead. you two.... | |

| I have a question (and I hope it's not a stupid one!).....What are the official UIL rules concerning summer two-a-days when a school chooses to play spring ball?? I know (or at least I think I know) that there are some concessions that must be made if you choose to play spring ball but what are they exactly??? | |

| Here is a link to the UIL webpage that gives you practice starting dates. Scroll down to the bottom of the page and it has 1A - 3A and 4A/5A information. It shows the difference in starting dates if you have spring practice.

| QB's don't have to worry about getting lit up....receivers don't have to worry about getting lit up. There is nothing realistic about it. If you treat it like what it is..just for fun, then it's ok. I do agree that qb's can never throw too many routes to the guys that will be running them on Fri night....but other than that...bubkis! | |
