Since this site supposed to be about football and coaching, instead of the tomfoolery that we normally embrace. I wanted to get your opinion on the preseason rankings. I know rankings mean nothing unless you team is close to the top.
Anyway, Carl Padilla has published his preseason top 25 rankings. I was supprised by the appearence of several teams, DeLeon and Morton in class A and the absent, Mason who droped down from 2A. Early in 2A, I was under the impression that the well in Early had run dry. I guess Coach Tindol has made believers of them. I was surprised by the positions of Brownwood at number 3 in 3A and Celina at 5 and Wiley 24. I thought Celina and Wiley would have been ranked higer. In 4A Aledo is at 21 and Abilene Cooper at 3, I would have thougt that Aledo would be at 3 and Cooper at 21. The Class 5A shocker was Mojo at 5, Darren Allman has brought the Mojo back to Mojoland.

Celina should be 2, navasota and la vega shouldnt be in the top 5 either.

You should have just posted the 3A rankings because I know you have not even looked at any of the rest of the classifications. LOL

All this talk about polls is getting youngster fired up. He loves him some polls. He ordered extra warm mayo in San Antonio at every restaurant.
