With this being a new board. Want to know where you coach. I want everyone to network.

Fort Stockton, not any where near North Texas but I have to find a new home since TOC is shutting its doors. I have formerly coached in Colorado City, Ennis, Tahoka, Hubbard been at it for 17 years.

Just part of the business. I was 4 places in 8 years.

So, are you able to make a living with the housing market what it is?

It is actually still pretty good where I am at. I also have agents working under me. We have other income streams as well. Wife owns a mortgage company and I flip houses from time to time.

There are time that I get a real estate deal and she gets the loan. Makes for a good day.

Burnet, Graham, and Northwest. Got out of coaching after 17 years. Now I own and operate a landscaping company. I did enjoy it when I was young and didn't care about the time involvement.

Roller: When do I plant grass for a small back yard, very shaded, large arse dog dominating back there, and what kind do I plant?

The temps need to be above 50degrees at night for the grass to actually start to grow. If you are putting down seed, the temps needs to be above 65-70 at night for the seed to germinate properly.

If you didn't have a big dog, I would say put down some St. Augustine. It doesn't mind the shade but requires more water than bermuda.

Let me ask some of my grass reps and I'll pm you what I find out.

Did your fence withstand the wind from yesterday? I have had several calls last night and today requesting quotes for fencing. I build mine from the ground up and guarentee it for 5 years with winds up to 40mph. Anything over that and all fences will start to give a little.

Fence is was pretty good. Houses close together in North Texas, don't know if that helped.
