| On Friday April 4th, La Marque superintendent Burley announced that the new Head Football Coach/Athletic Director has been chosen. The superintendent first offered the position to David Suggs (of Nimitz) who declined the position and withdrew his name from consideration. This means that the recommendation for the position will go to one of the two remaining finalist. Darrell Jordan; the head coach for Dallas Kimball or Gary Mullins; Grapevines head coach.The recommendation to hire will be made at the next La Marque ISD board meeting on Thursday, April 10th. And so we wait!!! | |
